Facility Expansion and Renovations

Immaculate Conception School, during its early years, was gifted an Educational Broadband Service license from the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). These “airwaves” were given to non-profit schools to provide educational broadcasting in their local communities. Unfortunately, Immaculate Conception was not equipped to utilize these broadband services. Throughout the years, the FCC has revised their policies to allow commercial usage of a portion of these airwaves.

In June 2023, Father Jacob received a proposal from a broadband provider to purchase these airwaves. Working with the Parish Finance Board, Parish Council, Diocese, and Legal Counsel, he negotiated a sales agreement that would generate over $1,100,000.00 for the school.  The sale was finalized in May 2024 with the net revenue of $1,174,985.00.

These funds are specifically earmarked for future facility needs of our Madison Street campus and have been on deposit at the Diocese accruing interest. 
Father Jacob with the assistance of the Parish Finance Board, Facilities Staff, Parish Council Members, Architect and Engineer began researching and developing a plan for expanding and renovating our school facilities at the 
1901 Madison Street Campus. This plan includes additional campus security, updated restrooms, additional classrooms, STREAM/Science Lab, PreK – K playground, additional parking with carpool lanes and more.

Renovations began during the Summer of 2025 and will be ongoing through 2026. The site plan and renderings are available under the Campus Renderings tab.
