The "Chapel Preservation" project is moving forward, and the first stained glass window is scheduled to be removed for restoration. The restoration of all the windows will be an ongoing and lengthy process, so we are beginning with the window that needs it the most. The 2nd stained glass window on the right when you enter the Chapel, “Death of St. Joseph” will be the first window to undergo restoration and will be removed during the third week of July 2026. After extensive research, vendor meetings, estimates, etc., we have chosen Emmanuel Studios in Nashville as our glass restoration vendor. Emmanuel Studios has provided services to many parishes in our diocese to include our own parish. They are responsible for the stained-glass windows in our main church as well as the glass etching in the narthex. The windows will be removed for restoration, and a temporary rendering will be installed inside the Chapel to cover each opening. Of course, the temporary window openings will be sealed and secured. The Chapel Preservation team is diligently working on the other aspects that will be included in this project. We will continue to provide updates on this exciting endeavor as it develops.
